Dave Barry is a Pulitzer Prize-winning humorist and author of dozens of bestselling books of both fiction and non-fiction. Dave’s column for the Miami Herald ran for 25 years and was syndicated in more than 500 newspapers around the world. The popular comedy series, “Dave’s World,” was based on his life and ran on CBS from 1993-1997. In 2004, Dave (with Ridley Pearson) began publishing his bestselling series of children’s books chronicling Peter Pan’s early adventures. The newest book, Peter and the Sword of Mercy, is scheduled for publication on October 20. In his spare time, Dave plays lead guitar in the Rock Bottom Remainders, a group whose members have included authors Stephen King, Amy Tan and Mitch Albom -- and for one performance, Bruce Springsteen. Dave has run for President of the United States several times but so far has not won.

Andre Bormanis began his career in Hollywood as the Science Consultant for Star Trek: Voyager and Deep Space Nine. Andre, who has a degree in Physics and his masters degree through a NASA Space Grant Fellowship, eventually became a writer for Star Trek: Enterprise. Since then, he has written for the CBS sci-fi series Threshold and The Eleventh Hour. He currently is a writer and producer of the popular fantasy series, Legend of the Seeker. Andre is the author of the book Star Trek: Science Logs, has had several of his astronomical photographs published in scientific journalsand is an accomplished pianist.

Craig Ferguson was born in Glasgow, Scotland and broke into show business as a stand-up comedian. After moving to the United States, Craig quickly found success as an actor, most notably with his seven years as Nigel Wick on The Drew Carey Show. In 2006, Craig became the host of the CBS Late Late Show, where he has won over both audiences and critics with his comic charm. Craig has written and starred in several films, including Saving Grace and I’ll Be There and in 2004, he appeared in the film Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. In 2006, his acclaimed first novel, Between the Bridge and the River, was published by Chronicle Books.

Diana Leszczynski was born in England, raised in Canada and currently lives in California. While she always wanted to write, she studiously avoided it by working as a researcher, a reporter and an executive at Warner Bros Studio, where she developed animated feature films. In 2008, Diana’s first novel, Fern Verdant and the Silver Rose, was published by Random House. The novel, a comic adventure story, was recently selected as a Smithsonian Notable Children’s Book and a 2009 Green Earth Book Honoree. Fern Verdant and the Silver Rose is being developed as a motion picture. Diana is currently writing her second novel for young people.
